Dreams Come True

Exchange with Turkey Scholars – A Hawaiian night

In the night of Tuesday July 7th I had the incredible opportunity to have a beautiful dinner with some other scholars form the Nippon Foundation, and also some staff members of Nippon Foundation. This dinner was held in a beautiful Hawaiian restaurant call “Loco’s Table Mahana” ,the food was good, but the best thing was to talk to everybody.

Hawaiian Night & Cultural Exchange

On July 7th the Nippon Foundation nikkei scholars had experienced a great meeting with JATCAFA (Japan Turkey Central Asia Friendship Association – a Nippon Foundation Branch) scholars. The four students are currently studying in Turkey and they were visiting Japan for a one week study trip.

It was my first time to meet people from the country of Turkey. I have read and heard of their country but it is here in Japan I got to see and meet them personally. They were very nice people and easy to get along with. Their names were hard to remember at the start, but after a while I got to remember them.
